Audition: Summer Harold Deep Dive!
Level up your improv skills with this late-summer intensive focused on the classic longform format: the Harold.
Over six weeks, you’ll explore the mechanics of strong scenework, with a special emphasis on UCB-style game. The program culminates in three performances over the course of one weekend.
This intensive is designed for new (or new-ish) improvisers who want to take the next step in their development and experience the benefits of focused longform training. No strict requirements to audition but imagining players who have recently completed a training program.
Audition Date: Saturday, July 18 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (no callbacks)
Note: Auditions will be capped at 70 people for logistical reasons. Participants will be assigned a 30-minute time slot and will do scenework in a small group.
Practices: Thursday evenings, 7:00–9:00 p.m. from July 30–September 17
Shows: Friday, September 25 – 7:00 p.m | Saturday, September 26 – 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
Your Instructor: Emma Needleman has more than a decade of longform improv experience. She performed with the PHIT house teams Metropolis and Hooch, directed the Harold teams Whiplash and Remain Calm, and taught Levels 101–401.
